In Cannes, home of the International Film Festival, a new multiplex cinema has been completed, along with a new university campus and a business innovation centre. Designed by French architect Rudy Ricciotti, the visually striking venue is literally and metaphorically multifaceted. Ricciotti’s stunning aesthetic design houses a four-storey cinema and 12 auditoriums with a total of 2,450 seats.
The opening of the Cineum Cannes Lodge Hall on 7 April was rounded off by a special live screening of Charles Perrault’s original “Cendrilon”. The Lodge Hall was designed by Arik Levy and combines an immersive DTS:X audio system with Finnish FLEXOUND Augmented Audio™ incorporated into FERCO dynamic seating that will excite audiences and enhance the cinematic experience like never before.
FERCO SEATING, the luxury seating design and manufacturing specialist, has collaborated with FLEXOUND Augmented Audio™ to customise our Premium Verona recliners at the Cineum Cannes multiplex.
