SD-777
SD-777 SEAT
The SD-777 system is designed for lecture halls and classrooms in schools and universities. It features an oscillating mechanism that allows the mast supporting the seat and backrest to move smoothly from the folded position beside the desk to the working position when a student sits.
When folded, the SD-777 creates generous spacing between rows thanks to its compact closed envelope. When seated, students can lean forward to move the seat into a more advanced position, increasing circulation space behind the row. Each seat integrates an oscillating mechanism within its standard. A spring controls the mast’s movement, while a damper regulates speed. Together, they prevent impact, eliminate noise, and ensure smooth folding against the desk. Because the seat is not fixed to the rear table structure, it eliminates vibration transfer and improves overall comfort.
The SD-777 achieves an ideal balance between comfort, space efficiency, and circulation. It is built for movement and intensive use, using robust components and ergonomic shapes that promote proper posture and long-term comfort. The system also offers extensive finish options. The seat and backrest can be manufactured in beech plywood or injection-molded polypropylene. Upholstered polyurethane foam cushions can be added to either or both elements. Fixed writing desks are made of high-density fiberboard, finished with melamine on both sides and rounded PVC edges.
USES AND APPLICATIONS
The SD-777 table and seat system adapts easily to compact classrooms where row spacing is limited. It maintains comfort while providing a generous writing surface.
It can be installed on flat, sloped, or tiered floors. In addition, it supports straight or curved row layouts, with manufacturing tailored to each project’s requirements.
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
The SD-777 supports upholstery woven from recycled PET polyester yarns. Every component can be recycled independently, helping reduce environmental impact and support a closed materials lifecycle.
