K1 Seat

K1 Seat

The K1 seat is the first model in a family of fixed theater seating designed for elevated aesthetics, comfort, and versatility. Its construction uses environmentally responsible materials, with each component designed for separate recycling.

Versatility comes from variable dimensions and multiple seat, backrest, and side panel shapes. Designers can combine these modular elements to create a customized aesthetic for each project. Master craftsmen produce the wooden and upholstered components, blending innovative materials with traditional finishing techniques.

Ergonomic design enhances comfort through variable-density foams and elastic webbing in the seat and backrest assemblies.

Design Features

A trapezoidal side panel aligned precisely with the backrest defines the K1 model. This configuration supports continuous backrests or segmented layouts with straight or curved options. In segmented layouts, spacing aligns with the width of each side standard to maintain visual consistency.

Uses and Applications

With center-to-center widths ranging from 520 to 600 mm, the K1 adapts easily to a wide range of spaces. It installs on various floor inclinations and supports both straight and curved row configurations.

Multiple finish combinations expand design flexibility. Options include upholstered seating paired with beech veneer panels or fully upholstered configurations. These features make the K1 suitable for performing arts centers, auditoriums, theaters, and conference rooms.

Like all K family models, the K1 integrates with the fully automated KUF System. This system allows seats to fold and store beneath the floor, maximizing space efficiency.

Sustainable Design

The K1 seat supports upholstery woven from recycled PET polyester yarns. Every component can be recycled independently, helping reduce environmental impact and support a closed materials lifecycle.
