The evolution of the Recital functional seat was designed for use in both fixed seating applications or integrated into telescopic seating systems. The development of the frontal sliding system of the backrest combined with the rising of the armrest, allows that once folded to the horizontal position, the seat envelope closes to 16.5 cm. Thus allowing the folded chair to fit in a minimum row-rise of the platforms of only 28 cm.
The Recital model fixed or folding seat provides the user with a high level of comfort thanks to the curved shapes of the backrest and its lumbar support. Polyurethane foam of varying densities are used in the manufacture of both elements.
The seat tips up automatically when the spectator rises, by means of a ball and socket joint with a built-in damper that makes this movement extremely silent.
The wood cladding options available on this seat, backrest and armrests provides warmth and an elevated aesthetic in venues where this material follows the design intent.
USES AND APPLICATIONS OF THE RECITAL SEAT
The Recital chair is ideal for fixed seating venues or on telescopic platforms in multipurpose spaces. The folding version is usually assembled in gangs of 2, 3 and 4 units, with standards adapted to each application and it can also be installed individually for fixed theater seating.
The distance between axes in layout applications with shared arm rests measure 50, 52 and 54 cm. The seat can be fully upholstered or be clad in beech veneer over plywood with the same finish as the backrest and armrests.
On telescopic platforms, it can be installed on platforms with a footprint of 90 cm. In the closed position, the envelope is 41 cm, allowing for wide circulation aisles to be maintained between rows.
The folding mechanism on the platforms incorporates a damper, which prevents this movement from occurring abruptly, thus avoiding damage to the seats and minimizing noise levels.
RECITAL SUSTAINABLE SEAT
This product allows the use of upholstery woven with polyester yarns made from recycled PET bottles. In addition, to ensure the closing of the materials cycle, each and every element used in its manufacture can be recycled separately, thus reducing the ecological footprint.
